It is with profound sadness, the Clayton Fire Department announced the passing of Deputy Chief of Operations & Training Jason Dean.
This beloved 20-year veteran of the CFD family died overnight after a hard fight against the complications of COVID-19.
Jason was just 42 and is survived by his wife of 16+ years, Kristy, and his two beautiful daughters, 13-year-old Addie and 7-year-old Harper. The entire firefighting family sends its deepest and most sincere condolences to the Dean family.
Chief Dean helped shape the members of Archer Lodge Fire through his countless hours of training classes he held for us.
He will be truly missed by all in the fire service.
